May 26-29, 2010Theme: "Banks: life after the crisis". The problems of overcoming of the crisis' consequences, functioning of the banking system after the crisis, up-to-date world trends in banking and financial systems development, banking regulation and supervision, topical issues of risk management, interaction of banks and the real sector of economy, use of new technologies in banking business were discussed at the Congress. A separate workshop was dedicated to the Bank of Russia celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2010.

May 27-30, 2009Theme: "Growth and Soundness of the Banking System: Searching for Optimum". The problems of the banking system development during the crisis phenomena at the world financial market, upgrading the banking system soundness and competitiveness, consolidation of the banking business, new approaches in risk management, cost reduction through new technologies, as well as improved banking regulation and supervision were discussed at the Congress. June 1-4, 2005Theme: "Banks, Regulation and Economy". The problems of upgrading of the banking business, increased importance of banks and banking systems in the economy development, ways of improvement of regulation and supervision for credit institutions on individual and consolidated bases, drawing on the international experience in the banking liquidity buildup, the economic and legal aspects of relationships between the Bank of Russia and the credit institutions were discussed at the Congress.
