The Saint-Petersburg Foundation for Support of International Banking Congresses established on 16th January 1992 as a voluntary public organization.

The Foundation was established for public and other actions promoting the development of banking.

The Saint-Petersburg Foundation for Support of International Banking Congresses has gained more than fifteen years experience in holding international banking congresses and fora in Saint-Petersburg.

The Foundation maintains close cooperation with the Central Bank of Russian Federation and Saint-Petersburg Administration and has also accumulated a wealth of experience in holding high level meetings and visits.

In 2000 the IXth International Banking Congress held by the Saint-Petersburg Foundation for Support of International Banking Congresses has won the recognition of the Saint-Petersburg Administration as the year's best international congress in the category of the most effectively and professionally held conferences.

The Saint-Petersburg Foundation for Support of International Banking Congresses is open for cooperation and invites organizations in Russia, Europe and world-wide to partnership within the context of the tasks facing the Foundation.
